Yesterday Brett came home from school and told me that a couple of the boys at school were mad at us.  I couldn’t imagine why they were mad at us!  Mad at him maybe, but they didn’t have any reason to be mad at me.  After I voiced my opinion on the matter Brett said they were mad at us because their girlfriends wanted a relationship like we have. 

Funny how God answers prayers sometimes.  I actually asked God at the beginning of Brett’s and my marriage to develop a relationship between us like He originally created marriage.  Not that I had a real clear idea of what that would even look like.  Then I actually  had the audacity to ask for a relationship with my husband  that other people would see and want to have!  Well, yesterday I heard that people actually said that!

It is great to have a marriage relationship with my husband that people want, but more importantly do people look at my relationship with God and want one like it as well?  I know when I read the stories in the Bible about how Enoch walked with God,  Moses parted the Red Sea, Joshua led the battle against Jericho, Peter walked on water, and Daniel survived a night in the lion’s den,  I desire above anything else a relationship with God like that!
