I recently brought my winter coats out of their boxes. Most of my coats are dark-colored and since we have a white cat I brought out the lint roller before hanging them up. At first as I rolled away I thought the roller just didn’t work that well as it only removed the small fuzzies. I got a little fed up with the stubborn hairs and decided to roll a little harder. Viola! The white hairs quickly disappeared from my coat and soon everything was hanging in my closet cat-free.
It struck me mid-roll how it is only through the tougher times in life, when God seems to be rolling us just a little bit harder that the annoying fuzzies in our life start to disappear. ” I know, O LORD, that your regulations are fair; you disciplined me because I needed it.” Psalm 119:75
