I dropped the last of kitty’s food onto her plate this morning. I loaded Aspen into the car and drove the required 30 minutes to the next town to buy kitty’s special food.  Brett’s cd player is pre-loaded with several different genre’s of music.  Aspen has several favorite songs: Mama Mia, Yakety Yak, and Take a Chance on Me.  Today she  picked, Take a Chance On Me.  We listened to it with the volume on high all the way there and all the way back.  If I appeared to be slacking and not ready to hit the back button she would shout, “Play it again!”

“Take A Chance On Me.  Is that what God is saying to you today?  Take a chance on me?  “You’ve tried everything else, now take a chance on Me.”  If you haven’t bothered to answer Him back He seems to be like Aspen and repeat the same song over again, Take A Chance On Me.  He wants to go dancing with you, walking with you, just spend time with you.  If you have no place to go, or you’re feeling down, just take a chance on Him.  If you change your mind, He is waiting for you.

Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.  John 1:12 NIV
