Aspen, the child who only sleeps when she has to, nearly fell asleep at breakfast. She put her head in my lap and closed her eyes. I correctly guessed that she wasn’t feeling well. At lunch time she hardly touched her food and proceeded to throw up several times in the next 24 hours. I don’t like when Aspen doesn’t feel well, but I sure did enjoy the extra cuddle time she needed.
I wonder if that is how God feels when my life takes a turn for the worse and I decide to spend more time with Him. I’m sure He doesn’t like when I feel bad, but at the same time I’ll bet He really enjoys the extra time He gets to spend with me.
