I think I overestimated the amount of greens I can eat when I planted my garden. I go out in the morning and pick a big bunch of swiss chard to juice and the next day pick a bunch of lettuce. The very next day I am shocked to see more swiss chard than I had before I picked it just the day before. The greens are over flowing and I can pick and choose as much as I want and it seems that it doesn’t matter how much I pick there is always more!
This illustration can be applied to God’s blessings for us. He has a bunch of good stuff just waiting for us. And like the jungle of swiss chard we can receive an infinite amount of God’s blessings, but there will always be more to receive.
“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you…..” Luke 6:38 World English Translation
