“Not even a sparrow, worth only half a penny, can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered.  So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to Him than a whole flock of sparrows.”  Matthew 10:29-31

Recently a couple of bird parents build a nest in our car port.  We have waited with anticipation ever since to see the new babies and watch the parents feed them.  A few days ago we saw the little babies heads poking above the top of the nest.  It was a very exciting moment for Aspen and myself and I’m afraid we made the mother bird fly away and not return to feeding her babies til we quieted down.  Today when we pulled up into the drive way we saw both the mother bird and the father bird feeding the babies. 

There are so many sparrows that they aren’t worth much but  the Bible tells us  that God knows when one falls to the ground.  Unlike the common sparrow you are one of a kind.  God prepared a life just for you, just like we saw the nest prepared for the baby birds.  God planned for you, created you and has your future taken care of just like those bird parents built the nest, kept the eggs warm and are now hard at work feeding their little ones.
