Learn from Me , for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  Matthew 11:29 

In this text Jesus tells us that He is gentle and lowly in heart.  He says, “Learn from Me.”  Jesus is our teacher.  When we sit at His feet to learn from Him, He will impart his gentle meekness and lowliness to us.  His spirit is meek and lowly and as our teacher this is what He longs to teach us.   Meekness and lowliness are the things He offers us.  When we accept His humility and let it shape our lives and actions, we will find the perfect rest for our soul.
