Yesterday my neighbors washer quit working mid-cycle and would not spin her clothes dry.  I offered my washer for her to finish her laundry.  It was late afternoon and she decided to wait for her husband to come home before she brought the clothes over just in case her husband could work some instant magic and cause the washer to work.  Unfortunately when her husband came home he was unable to instantaneously fix the washer and she brought her clothes over to spin them in our washer.  In the meantime her husband tore apart their washer to see if he could fix it.

God doesn’t always instantaneously fix us either.  Sometimes He does immediately deliver people from their sins.  Other times though we need to use the power of prayer daily, hourly and sometimes minutely for deliverance from temptation.
