I recently read a short article about the 30 uses for a certain brand of soap.  It was amazing, you could use the soap for bubble bath, to clean your sink, clothes and hair…..and even brush your teeth with it.  Some things seem too good to be true, like the vitamin or new food supplement that cures everything from a headache to a rash.  Or the exercise dvd that promises to help you look like Arnold Schwarzenegger or Christy Brinkley in just three short weeks.  The diet that promises a 10 pound a week weight loss without exercise!  Or the anti aging face cream that promises to erase every wrinkle to make you look 25 once again.  Or the article of clothing guaranteed to shrink you by two sizes at least.  Then there is garden fertilizer guaranteed to grow your tomatoes the size of basketballs and your beans as tall as Jacks.  It seems as though there is a ‘too good to be true’ promise out there to meet the needs of everyone. 

Have you ever read about something that seems too good to be true?  Have you ever day dreamed of a great fantastic life for yourself?   A pie in the sky, too good to be true kind of life?  Well, God has too!  And His dreams for you far exceed anything you could plan for yourself.  1 Corinthians 2:9 tell us this,  “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love him.”  God is calling you to your dream life.  Are you going to accept? 

“Come to me, all who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest.”  Matthew 11:28
